Undergraduate Students

The Student Research Training Program (SRT) is an intensive experiential learning program that engages second-year and third-year undergraduate students in the development, implementation, and assessment of a community-based project. Applications open annually in the fall and students can receive ELA credit.

Master of Science in Global Health Students

Master of Science in Global Health students are eligible for placement with Center faculty for mentorship and to participate in field research in Kisumu, Kenya.

School of Medicine Third Year Global Health Study Program

Duke medical students have the opportunity to connect with global health research mentors through the Third-Year Global Health Study Program. The program provides orientation on the responsible conduct of research, cross-cultural competency and travel safety, as well as guidance on identifying and applying for external global health research opportunities and funding.

Global Health Pathway for Medical Residents and Fellows

The Duke Global Health Pathway for Residents and Fellows (GHP) prepares trainees to bridge clinical practice with public health principles in order to reduce health disparities both locally and abroad. Learn more about this opportunity through the Hubert-Yeargan Center for Global Health website.
